John Quiggin is quickly becoming a favorite read for me.  Great stuff here on the risk of moral arbitrage.

  1. I know of the guy and have read his stuff. It is traditional … and not so interesting.. in the sense of it being standard spin off of mainstream money economics. I know for a fact that he has either not understood… or as a mainstream economist rejects the very basis of the connection of energy in alternative economic systems that do not use a Price System. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioeconomics
