The Jeremy Gould Tragedy
What is it about governments and the Internet? The Jeremy Gould story plays out for those who have followed it to Gould leaving his post. Oh well. Now we can hire him back at 4x his salary for half his time and then have no one who understands what he did when he moves on to the next client.

er Gosh, that’s making it sound a whole lot more dramatic than it feels from where I’m sitting

Glad you see it that way. Still in all, the postal system with stamps spread in a matter of a few short years globally from the time of the issuance of the penny black in 1840. If governments could be innovative then, why not now?
